Edgefield County veterans had another great time together at the Edgefield Christmas Parade on Sunday December 8, 2024. Veterans from American Legion Post 30, American Legion Post 222, and VFW Post 6932 participated in the parade. From decorating the float and tossing candy to kids to enjoying the parade itself, it was a fantastic experience. What a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Special thanks to Post 30 legionnaire Johnny Hensley for transporting the veterans in his deluxe float and to The American Legion Department of South Carolina Commander Bruce Donegan for joining us and to everyone who participated.
